World Student Publication Review (WSPR) is a prestigious platform dedicated to celebrating and recognizing the outstanding media creations from student clubs/organizations around the globe. The details about 2024 WSPR will be updated in this page.
Timeline:
- Application
- Early bird: July 10, 2024
- Standard: August 20, 2024
- Entry review: August
- Results published: September 10, 2024
Entry Evaluation Fee:
- Early Bird: 80 USD/entry.
- Standard Fee: 85 USD/entry.
- Fee Reductions: WSPR provides equal participation opportunities and offers tiered fee reductions, resulting in actual fees ranging from 0 to 80 USD per entry. Check the complete fee reduction policy to learn about the amount of reduction you can enjoy.

- Pay for each entry
Honors and Awards:
Each entry in WSPR is independently scored based on the criteria for its category. Awards are given according to the entry’s score as follows:
- Platinum Award for scores ≥ 90
- Gold Award for scores ≥ 80
- Silver Award for scores ≥ 65
- Bronze Award for scores ≥ 50
Eligibility for WSPR Submissions
WSPR is open to a wide array of media works produced by students, school clubs and student societies in the current academic year, whether it's a media-related club (such as school magazine, video club, press corps, etc.) or clubs with a different focus (such as sports team, language club, academic society, etc.).
For media club: publications and works produced in the current academic year.
For other clubs: media works such as social media account, promotional video, club bulletin, etc.
Media Review Categories
WSPR has a comprehensive list of categories that cater to various forms of media, ensuring that every type of creative work has a chance to be acknowledged.
Print Media
- Campus Magazines & Publications: Including magazines, club publications, and promotional materials.
- Campus Newspapers: School newspapers and club newspapers.
- Yearbooks: Documenting the year's highlights and memories.
Social Media/Community Media
- Official SNS Accounts: Including platforms like Twitter, Facebook, WeChat, Weibo, etc. Covering school, club, and individual student accounts.
- Video Accounts: Including platforms like YouTube, TikTok, WeChat Video, Bilibili, etc. Covering school, club, and individual student accounts.
Multimedia
- Videos: Ranging from school branding to club promotion, city introductions, public welfare, thematic content, documentaries, Vlogs, and more.
- Campus Short Films: Showcasing cinematic storytelling within the academic community.
- Photographs: Capturing campus life, scenic/architecture, portraits, photo stories, and more.
- Event Promotions: Including posters and promotional materials for events and brands.
- Music Videos: A fusion of audio and visual creativity.
Arts
- Comic Works: Illustrating narratives through sequential art.
- Design Works: Creative designs in various mediums.
- Handicrafts: Handmade items showcasing craftsmanship.
